Ballet Fused Fitness 

Based on principles and techniques of the Balletone™ program which borrows movements from classical ballet. Variable intensity cardio workout provides a foundation for healthier posture, improved body alignment and increased balance while developing joint strength. Fuses the best of dance, Pilates and other fitness programs with a focus on strength, aerobic endurance and flexibility. Done barefoot, flowing transitions are gentle and slow with no jarring movements--best of all, it is equipment free. (40 min)

Based on techniques and movements of the Essentrics® program and designed to create a balanced body, unlock what is tight, strengthen what is weak and tone what needs shaping--bringing back the ability to move each joint and muscle freely and with full range of motion. Full body workout is slow-paced to safely enhance strength and flexibility. Perfect for those easing into exercising, recovering from surgery, or suffering from chronic pain, atrophy issues or stiffness due to past injuries. (40-min)

About Lisa

I have always been active engaging in many forms of exercise and enjoy outdoor activities, especially bicycle riding. I have taught step aerobics, engaged in martial arts and kickboxing. I discovered Miranda Esmonde-White on PBS and followed along with her Classical Stretch series. After noticing almost immediate relief in sciatica pain, as well as huge improvement in pain from rheumatoid arthritis, I began the Essentrics certification program which included in-person training in Montreal and Denver with Essentrics Master Trainers. It eventually resulted in becoming a certified Essentrics Instructor. My love of all things dance led me to the fusion-style conditioning program Balletone. This program allows me the freedom to incorporate my past fitness experience and movement into a fun workout. I was happy to complete online training to become a certified Balletone Instructor. Move to Fit is an original low impact workout for all fitness levels. It focuses on resistance and form to gradually build and maintain lean muscle.
 
Prior to the pandemic, I offered in-person classes near my home town. As of 2020, I transitioned to virtual/livestream workouts.
